The Classic Car and Truck Club of
Beaufort, LLC is a hobby group of enthusiasts who enjoy owning, repairing,
restoring, maintaining and driving cars and trucks--both domestic and
foreign--of classic vintage; i.e. twenty years of age or older. Within that
definition are also included street rods and customs, replicas/kit vehicles,
“T-Buckets”, sports cars and others, as long as they purport to be based on a
model at least twenty years old. Members are composed of folks from all walks of
life, from teenager to grandparent, military and civilian, employed or retired,
and so on. Our rides range from those that are un-restored originals, to
“projects-in-progress”, to Concours show-quality specimens. We participate in
displays, shows, cruises, parades and other events in and around the Lowcountry
and coastal Georgia, and when asked, enjoy helping fellow members with advice
and assistance.
Other than the sharing of mutual interests in classic cars and trucks as described above, the Club sponsors an annual charity event, the "Christmas Meals on Classic Wheels" project which is the principal purpose of its fund-raising events during the year. Each year the Club gathers on Christmas Eve, purchases complete meals from a local restaurant, and then we set out in our classic rides to deliver the meals to needy families and individuals in the greater Beaufort community.
The Club holds an official monthly meeting the first
Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at a local restaurant to conduct business. The
restaurant and its location is posted on the website home page and calendar. On
the first Friday of each month at 5:30PM, the Club hosts a Cruise-In at the Grayco
Hardware parking lot, Hwy 21 (Sea Island Pkwy.) on Lady's Island. If interested,
we invite you to attend either--or both! For the most up-to-date information,
please follow the appropriate links on the left to learn of current schedulings.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and we hope to see you soon
at some car-related event.
Cruise on!
